MARCH 2007

Our Charter President Kwang (James) Soon Lee, attended the Lions Day with the United Nations. He commented on how exciting it was for him, to see and hear our World Leaders, in their Quest for World Peace.

He was very fortunate to meet, with the Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest Winner, and her family, originally from Korea, they are now residing in California. She was wearing a Traditional Korean Dress, as was her Mother, and spoke on the meaning of her Theme,"Let All Countries Sing the Songs of Peace", in which she contributes this Theme, to her Traditional Korean Family Values and Teachings.

He also had a meeting, with Past International Director (1996-1998) Jung-Yul (Yul) Choi, of Busan, Korea, whom is the current 2006-2007 Board Appointee. PID Choi spoke on his excitement, in the expansion of Korean-American Lions Clubs in the United States, and expressed his personal greetings and appreciation, to all our Lions Club Members, for their Dedication and Support to Lionism.

We wish to express our gratitude, to the Montgomery Couny Police and Fire Fighters Lions Club, and their Montgomery County Chinese-American Branch Lions Club, for providing the transportation for this Activity, especially Lion Titan Ren, for A JOB WELL DONE.
